New song from the super fine Melanie Fiona from her upcoming album The MF Life. This sounds great…I really miss this kind of R&B.

Nuggets: Portico Quartet feat. Cornelia “Steepless”
After hearing this I had to share it. What a smooth track from the Portico Quartet featuring singer Cornelia. Once again props to the Mahogany Blog, there’s a lot of good music on there folks.
New Music: Chip Tha Ripper “Out Here”
Just in case you don’t know Cleveland’s Chip Tha Ripper has a mixtape on the way by the name of Tell Ya Friends, which I will be telling you guys about upon it’s release. But anyway, the homie Chip let loose this leak from the tape entitled Out Here. I’m a big fan of Chip’s personally, the brother can rap and produce and he’s too unique not to like. Check it out and let us know what you think.
Nuggets: Michael Kiwanuka “Whole Lotta Love”
Watch in awe as British musician Michael Kiwanuka performs this amazing cover of Led Zeppelin’s (one of my favorite bands) Whole Lotta Love on BBC Radio. Props to Mahogany Blog for this.
New Video: Charlie XCX “Stay Away”
Here’s a new video from London’s Charlie XCX live in Dalston’s Heights. Not a new song but the performance and video are fresh so it’s all good. I’m beginning to feel like 2012 going’s to be a great year considering all the good music and good visuals coming out daily. It can’t all be ending when it’s getting so good, right?
Nuggets: 4 Strings and An 808
I truly was amazed when I stumbled across 4 Strings and An 808 a Hipster orchestra group. There unique blend of the violin and hip-hop brings out something different in the instrumentals. There amazing talent tackles some of hip-hop’s greatest mc’s instrumentals and trust me they don’t disappoint.
New Video: Pill “New Clothes, New Shoes”
A very laid back sound in this new video from Pill “New Clothes, New Shoes” which is on his most recent mixtape The Diagnosis. Be on the lookout for his upcoming mixtape titled The Epidemic.
The Come Up: Rome Cee
Check it out, this is Rome Cee straight out of Baltimore. You don’t get to hear many Baltimore artist on the mainstream but this is one guy who might make it. With his smooth style and heart felt lyrics you get something different from Rome than what you’re used to when it comes to the Baltimore rap scene. Check out “Something Beyond” from Rome Cee’s upcoming project The Grey Area.
New Music: Mac Miller “Jerry’s Record Store”
I had to post this one. I haven’t heard Mac Miller rap like this in a while. This is dedicated to Mac’s local record store and if he’s going to spit like this every time he wants to shout out his local neighborhood spots then I hope he gets inspired to shout out the dry cleaner’s some time soon.
